Terms of Use

These terms explain the basis on which you may use the HF Trust UK website. They are written in plain language and describe how this particular site works, including what does and does not happen when you record a donation through it.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

1. Introduction

This website is operated by HF Trust UK, the working name of Hazrat Fatimatuzzuhura (RA) Trust U.K., a charity registered in England and Wales, registration number 1142324. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the Trust" mean that organisation, and "the website" means the pages published at hftrustuk.org.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published here is the one that applies.

3. Using the website

You may read, share and link to the pages on this site. You agree not to:

  • use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage or disrupt it;
  • submit false information through our forms, or submit a donation record you do not intend to honour;
  • attempt to gain access to the private administrative area, or to any account, data or system that is not intended for you;
  • use automated tools to submit our forms, or to place an unreasonable load on the site.

4. Donations recorded through this site

This website does not process payments. There is never a card form here and PayPal is never used, and no payment provider is connected to it. When you complete the donation form you are recording an intention to give and telling us how you will pay.

You then make the payment yourself, through your own bank or mobile wallet application, using the reference the site shows you. Submitting the form is therefore not a payment, and it does not on its own move any money.

A member of the Trust's team checks each submission against the Trust's own bank or wallet records. A donation is treated as received only once that check has been completed, and a receipt is issued by email at that point. Until then a donation is recorded as pending.

Please quote the reference we show you when you make your payment. If you do not, we may be unable to match your gift to your record, which can delay your receipt.

5. Monthly giving

If you choose to give monthly, you are telling us that you intend to repeat your gift each month. This site does not set up a direct debit or a continuous payment authority, and it cannot take a payment from you automatically. A monthly gift is arranged and controlled entirely by you, in your own banking or wallet application, and you can change or stop it there at any time without telling us first.

6. Refunds

Donations are gifts to the Trust and are used to fund its charitable work. If you believe you have made a payment in error, please contact us as soon as possible using the details in section 12 and we will look into it.

7. Website content

We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that every page is complete or free from error at all times. Figures, appeals and project descriptions may change as the Trust's work develops.

Nothing on this site is intended as financial, legal or religious advice. If you need advice about your own circumstances, including on matters such as Zakat calculation, please consult someone qualified to give it.

8. Intellectual property

The text, layout, graphics and logo on this site belong to the Trust or are used by it with permission, and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may read and share our pages, and quote from them with attribution. Please do not reproduce our name, logo or branding in a way that suggests we endorse you, or present our material as your own.

Where material on this site belongs to someone else, those rights remain with its owner.

9. Links to other websites

This site may link to websites operated by others, such as the public register of charities. Those sites are not under our control. We provide the links because they are useful, and we are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your information.

10. Availability of the website

We aim to keep the site available, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted. It may be unavailable at times for maintenance, or for reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site.

11. Liability

We provide this website in good faith and take reasonable care over it. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, from any inability to use it, or from reliance on information published on it.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability which cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects your legal rights.
